Project Description
Nature has become my muse where colors and texture play a major part in my work.
I love what Rembrandt said, “Choose only one master – Nature.”
The French Broad River Connection

Asheville’s French Broad River in the early spring offers me more than just a landscape to paint. It is full of history and many stories back in time.

When Leaves Turn Red and Gold

This scenery brings back wonderful memories of a getaway weekend with my husband. Our cottage was across this beautiful lake at Fancy Gap, Virginia.
After the Rain

Asheville’s skies change every moment. Dramatic, moody, calm. Today, the sky is clear as the new light appears

SOLD
It was a beautiful sunny day as I watched a family of ducks cruising around this serene pond. Although I forgot to add the ducks, I was glad I chose to paint the reflection of the trees and sky.
